Rohit Sharma's childhood coach with major announcement! 'He will retire after ... '

Rohit smashed his 50th international century in Sydney during the third ODI and finished as the top scorer in the recently concluded series against Australia.
During India’s chase of 237, his power-packed 121* and partnership with long-time teammate Virat Kohli enthralled fans who had packed the stadium, possibly witnessing their final appearance together on Australian soil.
"The way Rohit batted today and how he contributed to India's win -- it felt great to watch today's match. He will play the 2027 ODI World Cup and retire after that," Dinesh Lad said.
Speaking about Virat, who bounced back with a rock-solid 74* after two successive ducks in Perth and Adelaide, Lad said there are frequent misconceptions about him.
"There are misunderstandings about Virat everyday. He is someone who can thrive anytime and anywhere. The way he played today, it feels good. Sachin had said in a function way back that Rohit and Virat would be the players who would break his records. Both getting closer to his records feels really good," he added.
Rohit was named both ‘Player of the Match’ and ‘Player of the Series’ for top-scoring in the series with 202 runs, including a century and a fifty.
After entertaining fans at the Sydney Cricket Ground in the third ODI — a match that left many emotional and teary-eyed — Indian stalwarts Rohit and Virat are set to return for the upcoming ODI series against South Africa, beginning November 30.
India and South Africa will play a three-match ODI series, with the first game scheduled for November 30 in Ranchi, followed by the second ODI on December 3 in Raipur, and the third and final match on December 6 in Visakhapatnam.
