Kaushik’s 224-ball essay contained 16 fours and 2 sixes. Kaushik started off by adding 134 runs for the opening wicket along with B Anirudh Sitaram (75, 10x4, 1x6). After Anirudh’s dismissal, Kaushik partnered with B Aparajith (46 batting) in an unfinished 127-run stand for the second wicket.

In another match, Vijay CC rode M Shahrukh Khan’s unbeaten 108 to be placed at 313 for 5 against Young Stars.

R Kavin (127, 13x4, 1x6) was the top-scorer for Alwarpet as they concluded their opening day against Swaraj on 294 for 3. Apart from Kavin, Alwarpet received handy contributions from B Sai Sudarsan (60, 8x4) and Manprit Juneja (89, 4x4, 2x6).
