NEW DELHI: Former allrounder Jacob Oram will be taking charge as the bowling coach for the New Zealand cricket team starting from Oct. 7, as announced by New Zealand Cricket, the governing body, on Thursday.
Oram, who is 46 years old, represented New Zealand as a player for a period of 11 years. He brings with him previous coaching experience, having served as the bowling coach for both the New Zealand A team and the women's team.
Upon his appointment, Oram expressed his feelings, stating, "To be back involved with a team that means so much to me and has been a big part of my life is a real honour."
