MUMBAI: Like head coach Omkar Salvi, the batting (Vinit Indulkar) and fielding (Onkar Gurav) coaches of the Mumbai senior team too have been retained after Mumbai won the Ranji Trophy after an eight-year gap in March this year.
The decision was taken after a meeting on Tuesday of the Cricket Improvement Committee with the cricket 'advisors' of the Mumbai Cricket Association to appoint the support staff for various Mumbai age group teams (men and women).
The MCA had recently appointed Sanjay Patil as the new chief selector.
Bravish Shetty has been made the Mumbai under-23 team's batting coach, while Amit Dani has been named as the assistant coach of the Mumbai Under-19 team.
The list of support staff for the various Mumbai age group teams for the 2024-25 season:
Senior MenBatting coach: Vinit Indulkar (batting), Fielding coach: Onkar Gurav (fielding), Video analyst: Rohan Amladi, Masseur: Abhishek Mirjulkar
Under-23: Batting coach: Bravish Shetty, Fielding coach: Karan Nandey, Video analyst: Dashang Tanna.
Under-19: Assistant coach: Amit Dani, Video analyst: Chitrang Mehta.
Under-16: Assistant coach: Kaustabh Pawar.
Under-14: Assistant coach: Salil Babardesai.
