MUMBAI: For the first time-ever, the Cooch Behar Trophy (for men’s Under-19) is being telecast live. The final, between Mumbai and Karn9, which began on Friday in Shimoga, is being telecast live. The summit clash is being live streamed by JioCinema, the BCCI's official broadcaster for home matches-international and domestic-since September 1 last year.

“Yes. This is the first time the Cooch Behar Trophy final is being telecast live. For the first time, the Vijay Merchant Trophy final (for Under-16), which will begin from January 17, will also be telecast live. The Women’s domestic one-day tournament will also be streamed live,” a source in the BCCI told TOI.

Ayush slams 145 to take Mumbai to 328-6

Meanwhile, opener Ayush Mhatre slammed 145 (180b, 17x4, 3x6) to take Mumbai to 328 for six on the opening day of their Cooch Behar Trophy (for Under-19) final at the KSCA Navule Stadium in Shimoga on Friday.

After Karnataka inserted Mumbai in, Mhatre added 114 in 162 balls for the second wicket with Nutan (44). Ayush Sachin Vartak was batting on 64 (87b, 7x4, 2x6). The match is being telecast live by JioCinema, the BCCI's official broadcasters for home matches.

Opening the bowling, batting great and currently India's head coach Rahul Dravid's son Samit went wicketles while conceding 49 in 12 overs.
