The DP World International League T20 returns for its fourth edition on December 2, with defending champions Dubai Capitals taking on last season’s runners-up Desert Vipers in the tournament opener at the Dubai International Stadium.
The clash will rekindle memories of Season 3’s gripping finale, where the Capitals sealed their maiden title with a four-wicket win in the last over. That result capped a dramatic campaign, witnessed by over 25,000 fans in Dubai.

Season 4 will once again feature 34 matches spread across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, with Dubai International Stadium hosting 15 fixtures, Zayed Cricket Stadium staging 11, and Sharjah Cricket Stadium set for eight games. The league structure remains unchanged, with the top four sides from the round-robin stage progressing to the playoffs.
Qualifier 1, featuring the top two teams, is scheduled for December 30 in Abu Dhabi, followed by the Eliminator on January 1 in Dubai and Qualifier 2 on January 2 in Sharjah. The final will be held in Dubai on January 4.
Sharjah Warriorz, who broke into the playoffs for the first time in Season 3, will aim to build on that breakthrough run. They finished fourth on the points table last season and came within one win of reaching their maiden final before bowing out against eventual finalists Desert Vipers.
The Warriorz will look to go a step further this year, with the Sharjah crowd once again expected to rally behind them as they chase a historic campaign.
