The fourth edition of the DP World International League T20 will get underway on Tuesday, December 2, with a high-profile contest between defending champions Dubai Capitals and Desert Vipers at the Dubai International Stadium.
The opening fixture will serve as a repeat of last season’s dramatic final, where the Capitals edged the Vipers by four wickets with four deliveries to spare, sealing their maiden ILT20 title in front of more than 25,000 fans.

Dubai International Stadium will stage 15 fixtures, Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi will host 11, while the Sharjah Cricket Stadium is set for eight encounters.
Following the curtain-raiser, Sharjah Warriorz, who broke into the playoffs for the first time in Season 3, will face Abu Dhabi Knight Riders in the second game of the campaign at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Meanwhile, the Gulf Giants, winners of the inaugural edition, begin their season against Season 2 champions MI Emirates on Thursday, December 4, at Dubai International Stadium.
The tournament format remains unchanged, with a 30-match double round-robin stage leading into the playoffs. The top two sides will contest Qualifier 1 on Tuesday, December 30, at Zayed Cricket Stadium. The Eliminator between the third- and fourth-placed teams is scheduled for Thursday, January 1, at Dubai International Stadium, while Qualifier 2 will take place in Sharjah.
The competition will culminate with the grand finale on Sunday, January 4, once again at Dubai International Stadium, starting at 6:30pm local time.
