Recalling a defining moment from his youth, Kohli shared how his father once turned down an easier route for him. “With calm conviction, he said, ‘If you’re good enough, you’ll find your way. And if not, it’s better to know that early.’”
That advice, Kohli noted, shaped how he approaches life and his work. He ended his message by honouring fathers everywhere, calling their quiet strength a lifelong compass.
Anushka Sharma also paid tribute on the occasion, offering fans a rare peek into their family celebrations. Known for guarding her private life, Anushka shared sweet moments with Virat and their children, Vamika and Akaay. In her post, she honoured both Virat and her own father, Ajay Sharma. The highlight was an adorable handwritten card from Vamika that read: “He looks like my brother. He is funny. He tickles me. I play make up with him. I love him so much and he loves me this much (arms wide).”
