The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is set to take place in Pakistan and Dubai, starting on February 19. Eight teams will compete for the coveted ICC trophy which returns after an eight year gap.

As the defending champions, Pakistan will have a significant advantage playing on home soil, but they'll face stiff competition from neighbours India, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan.

When is the Champions Trophy 2025?

The tournament kicks off on February 19 with a group match featuring Pakistan against New Zealand. The high-octane clash between India and Pakistan will take place on February 23.

The first semi-final is scheduled for March 4 in Dubai, followed by the second semi-final in Lahore on March 5.

The final will take place on March 9, with the exact venues in Dubai and Lahore dependent on India's qualification.

The tournament will follow a hybrid format due to India's decision not to play in Pakistan due to security concerns.

As of 12 February, all teams have announced their squads for the Champions Trophy with many changes made since the preliminary list on account of injuries.
