Deepti's outstanding bowling earned her Player of the Match award, as she took three wickets in her four-over spell while only giving up 20 runs.

The 26-year-old expressed her satisfaction with the victory and noted that everything unfolded in accordance with the strategy devised by the team and management for the match.

"I felt great and it worked out according to plan. Bowled in the right areas. As a unit, we are doing very well, having camps has helped us a lot. I worked on my bowling after the South Africa series which helped. She is a good batter and it brings a lot of satisfaction when you get a batter like that," Deepti said in the post-match presentation.

Talking about the match, Pakistan's decision to bat first backfired as they lost wickets at regular intervals. Sidra Ameen's 25 off 35 balls, which included three boundaries, provided some stability.

Tuba Hassan contributed a quick-fire 22 off 19 deliveries, also striking three fours. Fatima Sana's unbeaten 22 off 16 balls, featuring a four and two sixes, added some respectability to the total.

The Indian bowling attack was spearheaded by Deepti Sharma, who claimed three wickets for just 20 runs. Shreyanka Patil and Renuka Singh also impressed, each picking up two wickets while conceding only 14 runs. Pooja Vastrakar chipped in with two wickets as well, rounding off a dominant bowling performance by the Indian team.

India's pursuit of the target began on a positive note, thanks to the opening partnership between Shafali Varma and Smriti Mandhana. Shafali contributed 40 in 29 balls, with six fours and a six, while Smriti scored 45 in 31 balls with nine fours, as they put together a solid 85-run stand.

Despite losing a few wickets during the middle overs, India managed to regroup and get back on track. They ultimately achieved victory comfortably, securing a seven-wicket win with 35 balls to spare.
