Cricket Australia imposed an additional 10-year ban on Sri Lankan Test cricketer Dulip Samaraweera for alleged "inappropriate behaviour", which will run simultaneously with his existing 20-year suspension.
The 52-year-old former international, with seven Tests and five ODIs to his name during the 1990s, had briefly served as the head coach of Victoria's women's cricket team after his appointment in May.
His role ended abruptly following accusations of inappropriate conduct towards a female player.
In September, the Cricket Australia Conduct Commission barred him from all Australian cricket positions for 20 years. However, a fresh allegation has now emerged.
The new case involves an alleged incident during private coaching sessions whilst Samaraweera was employed by Cricket Victoria, though separate from his official duties.
"Cricket Australia Conduct Commission has made a determination in relation to a further allegation of inappropriate behaviour against Dulip Samaraweera," according to their statement.
"Samaraweera denied the allegations but chose not to participate in the investigation and subsequent Conduct Commission hearing."
The commission, without revealing specifics of the allegations, confirmed that the new 10-year sanction would run concurrent with his existing 20-year prohibition.
