MUMBAI: Test batsman
Cheteshwar Pujara struck a breezy half century to star in Indian Oil's second successive victory in the 13th D Y Patil T20 Cup Cricket Tournament on Thursday.
Pujara scored a 52-ball 53 and Ravikant Shukla's quick-fore 40 off 30 balls helped Indian Oil overhaul Mumbai Customs' target of 135 with four wickets and a ball to spare.
Jain Irrigation opener
Faiz Fazal struck four sixes and six fours in making 74 off just 53 balls at no. 3 to play the lead role for his side's six-wicket win over Western Railway.
Batting first Western Railway posted 157-8 in their 20 overs which was easily overhauled by Jain Irrigation who rode on Fazal's brisk knock.
In the other games for the day, State Bank of Travancore posted a comfortable eight-wicket win over Mumbai Police, while the much fancied Air India went down to DY Patil 'A' by 33 runs.
