India's bowlers delivered a stellar performance, restricting South Africa to a modest total of 82 runs in their allotted 20 overs. Trisha spearheaded the attack, claiming three wickets for just 15 runs.
The left-arm spin trio of Parunika Sisodia, Aayushi Shukla, and Vaishnavi Sharma contributed significantly, each securing two wickets, while fast bowler Shabnam Shakil added one to her tally.
Vaishnavi Sharma's two wickets in the final elevated her tournament tally to 17, making her the top wicket-taker of the competition.
In pursuit of the target, Trisha showcased her batting prowess by scoring an unbeaten 44 off 33 balls. Sanika Chalke complemented her efforts with an undefeated 26 off 22 deliveries. Their partnership guided India to a comfortable victory, achieving the target in just 11.2 overs.
Trisha's outstanding contributions throughout the tournament earned her the Player of the Tournament accolade. She amassed a total of 309 runs and took seven wickets, playing a pivotal role in India's triumphant campaign.
