BCCI Under-23 CK Nayudu Trophy: Rohan Rajbhar century guides Rajasthan to 9-wicket win over Goa

JAIPUR: Rohan Rajbhar hammered a brilliant century as Rajasthan thumped Goa by nine wickets in the BCCI’s Under-23 CK Nayudu Trophy match which concluded at the Sanguem Cricket Ground in Goa on Wednesday.
Opening batter Rohan struck 123 runs as Rajasthan chased down the target of 182 losing a solitary wicket.
Resuming on their overnight score of 70 without loss, Rajasthan scored the remaining 112 runs without any difficulty.
While Rohan did the bulk of the job, Avyansh Singh, batting on 19 on Day 3, performed the sheet anchor role to perfection with an unbeaten 45 (134b, 3x4).
Rohan, who was batting on 47 not out on Tuesday, raced to his hundred displaying some excellent shots to all parts of the ground. Rohan (123: 139b, 16x4, 4x6) milked the Goa bowling attack in the company of Singh.
Just when it looked Rajasthan would complete a ten-wicket win, Rohan departed when the team’s score was 176. When the winning runs were scored, Anshul Garhwal remained undefeated on 6. The No. 3 batter signed off with a towering six on the very first ball he faced.
