BCCI to conduct Sr Women’s T20, Col CK Nayudu Trophy soon

MUMBAI: With the third wave of COVID-19 having subsided, the BCCI will conduct two of its remaining domestic tournaments for the 2021-22 season-the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy and the Col CK Nayudu Trophy (for men’s Under-23), between March to May.
In a letter (a copy is with TOI) to all the state associations on Friday, BCCI secretary Jay Shah wrote: “As we completed the Round 1 of the Ranji Trophy 2021-22, it gives me immense pleasure to apprise you that Sr Women’s T20 Trophy and the Col CK Nayudu Trophy 2021-22 shall take place during the months of March-May 2022.The BCCI will share the draw of the tournaments and the bio-safety protocols in due course.”
Shah’s communication, however, doesn’t make any mention of the Cooch Behar Trophy knockouts, which were postponed due to a Covid-19 surge in January.
