on Thursday. While Aparajith’s 264-ball essay was studded with 11 fours and a six, his partner’s 212-ball knock had 9 boundaries and a six.

This was Aparajith’s sixth century of the season. Ankit, on the other hand, got to his 5th ton of the season and has so far scored 777 runs from 7 innings. Apart from the two, B Anirudh Sitaram too chipped in with 37.

In the other semifinal clash, defending champions Grand Slam were placed at 248 for 7 against Alwarpet. The main contributors for Grand Slam were V Yo Mahesh (39), V Maaruthi Raghav (62) and Abhishek Tanwar (48). Grand Slam were in a spot of bother when half of their side was back in the pavilion with just 115 on board. The sixth-wicket stand between Raghav and Tanwar yielded 86 runs in 27 overs and helped the side cross the 200-run mark. For the bowling side, left-arm spinner M Siddharth was the standout performer with figures of 3 for 48. He was well-supported by R Divakar (2 for 75) and RS Jaganath Sinivas (2 for 51).
