David Warner has surpassed
Virat Kohli to become the fifth-highest run-scorer in T20 cricket during a match for London Spirit against Manchester Originals in The Hundred competition in England on August 12. Warner achieved this milestone with an impressive innings of 71 runs off 51 balls.
Warner's knock, which included 12 fours and a six at a strike rate of 139, wasn't enough to secure victory for his team as they fell short of Manchester's target of 164 runs. His career T20 statistics now stand at 13,545 runs in 419 matches, with an average of 36.80 and a strike rate above 140.
