In their game against MCC, opener B Sai Sudharsan’s 226 was instrumental in Alwarpet finishing their opening essay on 498-7. The left-hander stitched a 170-run stand for the first wicket with Manprit Juneja (84). Sudharsan got to his maiden double ton during his 141-run third wicket partnership with Ashwin Venkataraman (46).
