MUMBAI: Former Mumbai coach and domestic stalwart
Amol Muzumdar is amongst the 15 applicants who've been shortlisted for the job of Baroda head coach. Muzumdar has also applied for the post of head coach of the Indian women's team.
"Muzumdar, Surendra Bhave (ex-national selector), Tushar Arothe, Jacob Martin and Mukund Parmar are amongst the 15 coaches who have been shortlisted for the Baroda head coach job," a source in the Baroda Cricket Association told TOI.
The candidates will be interviewed by a three-man Cricket Advisory committee of the Baroda Cricket Association which includes former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan, Satyajit Parab and Valmik Buch.
During Muzumdar's tenure, Mumbai had reached the final of the Ranji Trophy in the 2022 season, and clinched their maiden Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (T20) last season.
