Time to hear from the Proteas camp - Wiaan Mulder shares that the team reflected on the previous defeat and admits that New Zealand were better in terms of execution. On opening the batting, he says it's a new challenge but one he enjoys, adding that it suits his game. Acknowledges that while there are players who can go hard from the start, it's about finding his own way at the top of the order.
A quick word - New Zealand's Devon Conway says it was a gritty last innings as the wicket wasn't easy at all, but he accepted the conditions and adjusted accordingly. He adds that Gerald Coetzee has troubled him so far in this series, coming over the wicket, but he is not trying to fight back, but play through the line. Shares that the straight boundaries are pretty short, so the bowlers might bowl a bit short, and as a batter, they'll try to play more square of the wicket.
South Africa's captain - Keshav Maharaj says that the straight boundaries are small and believes that batting first will help them understand the right lengths to bowl. He adds that they want to bounce back from the last game and ends by saying the boys are up for the challenge.
The captain of New Zealand - Mitchell Santner says it looks like a good wicket with a bit of grass on it. Adds that with the traditional bounce on offer, he expects there to be some assistance for the seamers early on. Praises the seamers for the way they bowled in Hamilton.
