The highlight was Gus Atkinson's stunning hat-trick, which wrapped up the New Zealand innings. Atkinson also ended with 4 wickets, leaving New Zealand no chance to recover. With a 155-run lead, England's openers came out firing. Zak Crawley set the tone with two boundaries off the first two balls but fell quickly. However, Ben Duckett and Jacob Bethell steadied the ship with an unbeaten 73-run partnership, playing some confident strokes to keep England in control. What lies ahead? A fantastic session for England where they continued their dominance with the ball before extending their advantage with the bat! All smiles around in the English camp as they head to the Lunch break with a lead of 237 runs. New Zealand started the day at 86/5, hoping to narrow down the deficit, but things didn't go as planned. They were bowled out for just 125, unable to cope with England's relentless bowling attack. Brydon Carse continued his magic from the opening day, picking up another two wickets to finish with a brilliant 4-wicket haul.
