Well then, things have moved at a rapid pace on this second day. With momentum firmly in their favor at the Hagley Oval, New Zealand will be keen to maintain their stranglehold and make further inroads into England's batting lineup. The visitors, meanwhile, will look to steady the ship in the second session by constructing a stable partnership and minimizing any damage to their already worrisome position.
