LSG vs GT Live Score, IPL 2025: In a battle of top-orders, Lucknow Super Giants' delivered the goods versus Gujarat Titans in IPL 2025 at the Ekana Cricket Stadium. Nicholas Pooran and Aiden Markram slammed fifties that trumped the half centuries in the first innings by Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan. LSG went on to win by 6-wickets in the final over of the contest.

In the process LSG collected their third straight win while disrupting GT's four match winning streak. Subsequently, LSG moved to third in the points table while GT dropped one place to second with Delhi Capitals taking top spot.

LSG were without Mitchell Marsh, their second-highest run-scorer in IPL 2025, who ranks third overall, behind Pooran and Sudharsan. Marsh's absence is due to his daughter being unwell, said Pant. In his place, LSG included Himmat Singh, a batter from Delhi, who is listed at No. 4 on the team sheet.

GT also made one change, bringing back off-spin all-rounder Washington Sundar to replace left-arm pacer Kulwant Khejroliya. Washington strengthens a spin attack that includes his Tamil Nadu teammate Sai Kishore and Afghanistan's star spinner Rashid Khan.

LSG came into the contest on the back of two straight wins - versus Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders.

On the other side are Gujarat Titans who have quietly gone about their job and were sitting top of the IPL points table coming into it. Ever since their defeat against Punjab Kings to open the tournament, GT have romped to four straight wins - vs MI, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Sunrisers Hyderabad and most recently against Rajasthan Royals.

Lucknow Super Giants vs Gujarat Titans Live Score, IPL 2025: Adapting to home conditions has proven challenging this IPL 2025, but on Saturday, the Lucknow Super Giants made the most of it when took down Gujarat Titans by 6-wickets at the Ekana Stadium.

Batting first, Gujarat Titans scored 180 runs with the help of fifties from Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan. In reply, Nicholas Pooran and Aiden Markram notched fifties of their own as LSG overhauled the target in the final over.

The win means LSG have now picked three triumphs in a row while stopping GT's run of four straight wins short. In the points table, LSG are third and GT are second.

LSG's season kicked off with drama following a loss to Punjab Kings, which prompted a pointed remark from Zaheer Khan. A switch from a red soil pitch to a black soil one resulted in a win in their second match, though perhaps not in the dominant manner they hoped.

Victories in Hyderabad and Kolkata have kept LSG in contention for the top four, even while they sit just outside the playoff spots.

As the tournament advances and more teams compete for better positions, LSG's bowling lineup could be tested. Their pricey Indian bowling attack has performed adequately in two of their three victories but has been lacklustre in both defeats. The batting has been carrying the team, but relying too heavily on it could lead to issues down the line.

On a similar note, the Gujarat Titans have leaned on their top three and impact substitute Sherfane Rutherford for most of their runs in earlier wins, until their last match. They almost fell victim to their own success, but Shahrukh Khan and Rahul Tewatia stepped up after a rare failure from the top order, helping them secure a winning total.

Coincidentally, GT also features an all-Indian pace unit in the absence of Kagiso Rabada, which has performed well in their four victories.
