NEW DELHI: Left-arm pacer Jaydev Unadkat made history at the IPL 2025 mega auction in Jeddah on Monday, being acquired by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 1 crore.
This marks the 13th time Unadkat has been purchased in an IPL auction, a record unmatched by any other player, with no one else crossing seven auction buys.
Over his IPL career, Unadkat has played for several franchises, including Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Daredevils, Rising Pune Supergiants, Rajasthan Royals, Mumbai Indians, and Lucknow Super Giants.
Now, Unadkat adds Sunrisers Hyderabad to his extensive IPL journey in 2024.
