The 2025 IPL final featured Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings in a high-octane clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahemdabad. RCB went on to bat first, in which they managed to amass a total of 190. Virat Kohli led the attack as he posted 43 on the board from 35 deliveries. This was RCB's fourth appearance in an IPL final, but their first-ever win.
Punjab Kings on the other hand, will have to wait at least a year more if they are to put an end to their trophy drought. RCB's historic win was anchored by a sublime bowling display, notably by Krunal Pandya, whose spell of 2/17 in four overs was crucial. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Yash Dayal also chipped in with wickets. Despite a six off the final ball, Punjab fell short by six runs as RCB were crowned champions of the 18th edition of the IPL.

Kolkata Knight Riders have won the top prize thrice, with their most recent win coming in 2024.
