From 56/3, you'd assume that is a total they'd be happy with, though at a point it seemed as if 200 was very much in reach. The man of the hour is Aaron Finch, who held this innings beautifully with a knock of 69. After his dismissal the scoring rate dropped slightly but James Faulkner and Ravindra Jadeja had their chances of getting the boundaries. The Daredevils have a tough task at hand.

Full and straight from Shami and Finch fails to connect this one. Else, it would have gone soaring in the crowd such was the swing of his bat.

Corey Anderson took a fine catch off the bowling of Carlos Brathwaite to see the back of Karthik, but a flat six from Finch next ball that brought up his 12th IPL fifty is a sign how crucial he is to holding this innings together.

As Finch and Karthik continue to go strong, Daredevils' wait for a wicket only extends. And with the two batsmen now scoring quickly, the DD fielders are under the pump. Aaron Finch and Dinesh Karthik have put on 41 off 26 balls with some wonderful hits. Finch thumped consecutive sixes off Mishra, while Karthik too has collected three smart boundaries. Gujarat 98/3 in 11 overs.

Ishan Kishan seemed to be connecting the ball well but one bad shot and his innings ends on 34. Amit Mishra strikes off his third ball of the match. Kishan goes for the sweep and finds the top edge as Zaheer takes a comfortable catch at shirt fine leg. Not what Lions needed at the moment. Aaron Finch and Dinesh Karthik have plenty of work to do.

A fiery Pat Cummins comes round the wicket and Raina gives himself room. Slightly short of length and the Lions skipper plays all over it. The ball crashes onto the stumps uprooting leg and middle.
