Before embarking on their flight from Mumbai to Ahmedabad,

Royal Challengers Bangalore

lost two of their key foreign players – fast bowler Kane Richardson and legspinner Adam Zampa.

Both players withdrew from the ongoing IPL due to “personal reasons”. Soon after Delhi Capitals’ Super Over win against Sunrisers Hyderabad, the team’s star off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin decided to take a break from the IPL.

Amid all this, the two teams will clash in Ahmedabad on Tuesday. Both sides have been in top form so far. With four wins out of five games, both DC and

RCB

have 8 points in their kitties. While DC huffed and puffed to a win in their last game, RCB got a 69-run thrashing at the hands of Chennai Super Kings in their previous match.

In head-to-head, DC have the advantage, having emerged victorious in the last four out of the five encounters between the two teams. The Motera wicket will be one to look out for.

During the India-England Test series, rank turners were laid out. But in the following five-match T20I series, the pitches offered considerable amount of pace and bounce.
