IPL 2025 new schedule: Mumbai Indians match date, venue, timings, opponent and more
NEW DELHI: After consultations with the government, security agencies, and all key stakeholders, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to resume the remainder of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 from May 17. All matches will be played across six designated venues.
The season will restart at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on May 17, with Royal Challengers Bengaluru facing Kolkata Knight Riders. The tournament had been suspended for a week following heightened cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan, during which Pakistan launched missile and drone attacks that were successfully intercepted by Indian forces.
