IPL 2017 list of players retained and released by Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians is an Indian Premier League franchise cricket team. It is one of the most successful and expensive teams as its owned by Mukesh Ambani.
MI was sold to the Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) for $111.9 million in January 2008. The home ground of the Mumbai Indians is the Wankhede Stadium (Mumbai).
The motto of the MI is "Duniya Hila Denge Hum...", (We will rock the world).The team logo is a Razor (or the Sudarshan Chakra). Mahela Jayawardene has been appointed as the new head coach of Mumbai Indians for the 2017 season.
The MI have a purse balance of Rs 11.555 crore for the upcoming IPL Season 10 player auction. Their current squad strength is 20.
