Surprising move. Manish Pandey walks in next.
D Chahar to R Bhui, OUT! Edged and gone! The pressure was building on Bhui and he finally succumbed under it. Clever bowling by Chahar, he delivers it on a driving length outside off and tempts the batsman. We are back for the run chase. Kane Williamson is with his new partner, Ricky Bhui who has been drafted into the side in place of injured Dhawan. Will the rookie make a statement? Meanwhile, Deepak Chahar will have a go with the ball for Chennai. A slip in place. Here we go...
Twice in two games, Hyderabad's bowling fell flat. How often have you seen this? To be honest, they started with a bang and were all over Chennai in the first 10 overs as they gave away just 54 runs but in the next 10, they were taken to the cleaners as the opposition amassed 128 runs. Rashid Khan once again had an off day while the rest just couldn't find their groove. Now they have their task cut out and remember, they are without Dhawan. Will they be able to overhaul the target? We shall find out soon...
Michael Hussey is up for a chat. He says it was a fantastic comeback from his players. Adds the pitch is a bit two-paced and opines it will quicken up as the game progresses. Credits Raina and Rayudu for pulling things back. Feels the score that they have got is just over par. Ends by saying, Williamson's wicket will be the key for them and hopes that they get him early.
Tremendous comeback from Chennai and they need to thank the local lad, Ambati Rayudu for his splendid innings. His side was struggling when he walked in and the score read - 32/2 in 7.1 overs. Since then, the plot completely changed. What looked like a two-paced surface, turned into a batting beauty. Suresh Raina was slow to start off but it didn't take time to gather steam. Together they took the attack to the opposition and stitched 112-run stand between them to shore things up and then MS Dhoni came in and smashed his way to a quickfire 25 off just 12 balls to give his side a strong finish.
B Stanlake to MS Dhoni, Low full toss on middle, Dhoni drills it straight back down the ground. It hits the stumps at the other end and the ball deflects towards mid-wicket. Dhoni calls for two and they get it comfortably in the end. CHENNAI WITH A STRONG FINISH - 182/3!

B Stanlake to MS Dhoni, SIX! Shot-arm jab, shouts Manjrekar on air. The slower back of a length delivery, Dhoni picks it up and dumps it over mid-wicket for a maximum. Booooming hit!
B Stanlake to S Raina, Length delivery, angling away, Raina looks to swing across the line but gets an edge down to third man where Kaul makes a good stop. A single taken.
Billy Stanlake to bowl the final over.
S Kaul to MS Dhoni, Very unusual from Dhoni. Gets down to sweep it away but is done in for the pace here. It hits him on the pads. Dot to end the over. Will they reach 190?

S Kaul to S Raina, FOUR! That's fifty for Suresh Raina, 32nd in the League. Started the innings very slowly and was struggling to middle the ball but didn't give up. Gets a round of applause from his mates, thoroughly deserves! Short and outside off, it's the knuckle delivery. Raina hits it through cover and gets to the milestone in a grand manner.
S Kaul to MS Dhoni, Goes fuller this time, knocked down to long on for a single.
S Kaul to MS Dhoni, FOUR! Top edge over the keeper! Kaul with a short one, directed towards the body, Dhoni goes for the full-blooded pull but the ball gets big on him. Gets it off the top edge which flies down to fine leg for a boundary.
R Khan to S Raina, FOUR! Rashid Khan ends his spell with a bad delivery. Twice in two games he has been really expensive. He got a wicket on the first ball today but since then has failed to capitalize. Short and slipped down the leg side, Raina uses the pace and helps it behind square on the leg side.
R Khan to MS Dhoni, Dropped short on middle, pulled hard but there is a man at deep mid-wicket. So just a single.

S Kaul to S Raina, Opens the face of the bat and runs one does Raina.
S Kaul to A Rayudu, OUT! Dear me, Ambati Rayudu is run out! Sigh! Twice in two games, he has been run out. In the previous game it was brilliance from Ashwin but here, this was a waste of a wicket. Good length delivery outside off, lifted down to long off for a single. Rashid Khan in the deep returned the throw to the bowler who failed to collect it cleanly. Rayudu thought of taking another run and set off before Raina sent him back. Kaul immediately picked up the ball and gave it to Williamson who took the bails off at the bowler's end. Will this slow things down as the set batsman departs after a classic knock?
MS Dhoni is the new man in.
S Kaul to A Rayudu, FOUR! Skillful! Knuckle delivery on middle and off, Rayudu gets into the position early and reverse paddles it down to third man for a boundary. All deft!
