Kolkata Knight Riders batter Angkrish Raghuvanshi was given out for obstructing the field during the IPL 2026 match against Lucknow Super Giants on Sunday in Lucknow.Raghuvanshi was unhappy with the decision and spoke to the on-field umpires, but he eventually had to walk back after the third umpire upheld LSG’s appeal.The incident happened on the final ball of the fifth over bowled by Prince Yadav. Raghuvanshi pushed the ball towards mid-on and started running for a single.After taking a few steps, he was sent back by Cameron Green. While turning, he also moved into the danger area of the pitch.As Raghuvanshi tried to return to the crease, he came in the line of Mohammed Shami’s throw from the field. The ball hit his body as he dived to complete the run.LSG appealed for obstructing the field, and third umpire Rohit Pandit accepted the appeal and gave him out.The decision left KKR struggling at 27 for three after five overs.Raghuvanshi scored 9 runs from 8 balls, including one four.
