IPL Toss Today: Riyan Parag returns but no Ravindra Jadeja as DC opt to bowl against RR

Delhi Capitals won the toss and elected to bowl first against Rajasthan Royals in a crucial IPL 2026 clash at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, with both teams fighting to stay alive in the playoff race.

Parag admitted he was unsure at the toss but said RR were comfortable chasing as well. Rajasthan entered the game outside the top four after losing both their matches over the last two weeks, but a win in Delhi could revive their playoff campaign immediately.

Rajasthan handed a debut to Ravi Singh, while Adam Milne was included for his first appearance of IPL 2026 as RR made multiple changes in a bid to revive their playoff hopes.

For DC, the equation remains simple — defeat would officially end their hopes of reaching the playoffs after an inconsistent season marked by bowling struggles, middle-order concerns and frequent setbacks in key moments.
