Sunrisers Hyderabad moved up to third place in the IPL 2026 points table after beating Rajasthan Royals by five wickets at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday and swapping places with them in the standings.Chasing 229, SRH completed the target successfully to register their fifth win in eight matches. They now have 10 points with a net run rate of +0.815.The defeat pushed Rajasthan Royals down to fourth place. RR also have 10 points from five wins in eight matches, but their net run rate of +0.602 is now behind SRH’s.

Earlier in the day, Punjab Kings strengthened their position at the top of the points table while chasing down 265 against Delhi Capitals.PBKS now have 13 points with six wins and one no result in seven games and sit firmly on number one position. They are followed by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at number 2. The defending champions have 10 points with five wins in seven games and an NRR of +1.101.In the mid-table battle, Chennai Super Kings are fifth with three wins and four losses from seven matches. They have six points and a modest net run rate of +0.118.
Delhi Capitals are just behind in sixth, with three wins and four losses in six matches, also on six points but with a slightly negative net run rate of -0.184.Gujarat Titans have slipped to seventh. They have three wins and four defeats from seven matches, with six points and a struggling net run rate of -0.790.Mumbai Indians find themselves in eighth place, managing just two wins from seven matches. With five losses, they have four points and a net run rate of -0.736. Lucknow Super Giants are ninth with a similar record of two wins and five defeats, but their net run rate of -1.277 puts them below Mumbai.At the bottom of the table are Kolkata Knight Riders. They have endured a difficult campaign, registering just one win in seven matches, alongside five losses and one no result. With three points and a net run rate of -0.879, KKR have a steep climb ahead to stay in playoff contention.
