IND vs WI Live Score, 2nd Test Day 2: Praise for Seales and learning opportunities
Reifer was particularly impressed with 24-year-old Jayden Seales, who led the bowling attack in the absence of injured senior bowlers Alzarri Joseph and Shamarh Brooks.
“This is Jayden’s first trip to India and obviously he will learn a lot bowling against good batters,” Reifer said.
He acknowledged that while the wicket offered little turn on day one, the bowlers stuck to their lines and lengths, gaining invaluable experience.
The coach also noted that as the match progresses, the pitch is expected to assist spin more, giving West Indies a chance to extract more wicket-taking deliveries. Reifer emphasized that Day One, though tough, was a crucial learning curve for the team ahead of the remainder of the Test.
