Nuwan Pradeep starred with the ball as Sri Lanka defeated Afghanistan by 34 runs at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff on Tuesday to register their first win of the 2019
ICC Cricket world Cup.
Pradeep finished with figures of 4/31 as Sri Lanka defended 186.
With Afghanistan chasing a tricky total in 41 overs (revised DLS target), the 32-year-old helped Sri Lanka bundle out Afghanistan for 152 in 32.4 overs.
