With the World Cup now entering its crucial stage, featuring 14 matches yet to be played, Rohit Sharma's team will have its first opportunity to cement a place in the final four on Thursday when they face Sri Lanka at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Following this match, India is scheduled to compete against the second-placed South Africa on November 5 and the Netherlands on November 12.
