India beat Australia to enter final

India beat Australia by 36 runs to set up summit clash with hosts England on Sunday. Chasing a massive 282-run target in a rain-curtailed 42-overs-a-side, Australia were bowled out for 245 in 40.1 overs as India registered a comprehensive win. Alex Blackwell (90 off 56 balls) and Elyse Villani (75 off 58 balls) hit quick-fire fifties but the target turned out to be too much for the defending champions. Deepti Sharma (3/59) took three wickets while pacers Jhulan Goswami (2/35) and Shikha Pandey (2/17) scalped two wickets each for India. Earlier, riding on Harmanpreet Kaur's majestic 171 not out India posted 281/4 in their 42 overs. Kaur smacked as many as seven sixes and 20 fours in her career-best 115-ball knock, which turned out to be a match-winning effort.
