In a pivotal moment for India, Renuka's exceptional bowling showcased her skill and determination, sending both the batters back to the pavilion in quick succession.

Opening batter Mooney was first to depart, on the fourth ball of the third over, as she fell to a well-placed delivery which flew off the outer half towards backward point where last-minute inclusion Radha Yadav dived in front and took a fine low catch, while Wareham was trapped in front on the very next ball, leaving Australia (17/2) in a precarious position.

Renuka's impressive over injected energy into the Indian camp, demonstrating her ability to make a significant impact early on in high-pressure situations.

Earlier, in a last-minute setback to Team India, Radha replaced the injured Asha Sobhana in the playing XI after the toss.

Asha, who was initially set to play, had to be sidelined due to an injury during the warm-up while at the same time toss was taking place. Radha, a key left-arm spinner, was brought in as her replacement to bolster India’s bowling attack.

Australia's captain Tahlia McGrath, who is leading the side in place of injured Alyssa Healy, exhibited a great gesture of sportsmanship by allowing the last-minute replacement.
