NEW DELHI: ICC TV will produce live coverage for all matches of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, bringing the action to a global audience.
Each game will be covered by a minimum of 28 cameras, enhanced by various analytical tools and visual technologies to enrich the viewing experience. The Decision Review System (DRS) will be in place for all matches, utilizing the Hawk-Eye Smart Replay system, which allows the TV umpire to review synchronized multi-angle footage instantly for precise decision-making.
A female-led commentary team featuring some of cricket’s biggest names will provide expert analysis throughout the tournament.
World Cup winners Mel Jones, Lisa Sthalekar, Stacy Ann King, Lydia Greenway, and Carlos Brathwaite will offer insights alongside former stars Anjum Chopra and Katey Martin, as well as ex-India coach WV Raman.
Adding even more star power, former India captain Mithali Raj will team up with her on-field rival, ex-Pakistan captain Sana Mir, in the commentary box.
Alongside these legends, well-known voices in cricket broadcasting such as Natalie Germanos, Ian Bishop, Kass Naidoo, Nasser Hussain, Alison Mitchell, and Mpumelelo Mbangwa will complete the commentary team. Kass Naidoo and Laura McGoldrick will co-host the build-up shows.
