Fans gathered to welcome Gill, who was dressed in a black shirt and shades. As India's vice-captain, he played a vital role in the team's undefeated journey to secure the Champions Trophy.
The final match on Sunday saw Gill partnering with captain Rohit Sharma, with the latter taking an aggressive approach. India achieved a notable four-wicket victory against New Zealand, successfully chasing down the target of 252 runs in front of a packed stadium in Dubai.
During the chase, Gill and Rohit formed a crucial 105-run opening partnership. Gill's innings of 31 runs from 50 balls ended with a spectacular one-handed catch by Glenn Phillips.
Throughout the tournament, Gill scored 188 runs in five matches at an average of 47.00, with his highest score being an unbeaten 101.
Fast bowler Harshit Rana returned to Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport from Dubai on Monday.
"I really felt happy," Rana told ANI upon his arrival.
Head coach Gautam Gambhir also arrived in Delhi after leading the team to victory in the Champions Trophy.
Rohit Sharma reached Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport with his family. His leadership was instrumental in securing another ICC trophy for India.
The Indian captain received the Player of the Match award for his outstanding performance in the final. His innings of 76 runs from 83 balls included seven fours and three sixes.
