NEW DELHI: Astrologer Greenstone Lobo has made a bold prediction ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final, stating that
Rohit Sharma’s team will defeat New Zealand and lift the prestigious trophy on Sunday at the Dubai International Stadium.
India remain the only unbeaten side in the eight-team tournament and are now just one win away from the title as they gear up to face New Zealand in the final.

Lobo predicts that Rohit, who led India to the 2024 T20 World Cup triumph, is on the verge of adding another ICC trophy to his illustrious career.
"Is India going to win the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy against New Zealand in the final? That is what we will discuss astrologically in this video. I have studied Rohit Sharma’s chart, and I can confidently say that after MS Dhoni, if any great player was born anywhere in the world, it is Rohit Sharma. He has a phenomenal horoscope. Uranus is at 29 degrees, Neptune at 15 degrees—both in deep exaltation. I also use asteroids in my calculations, such as Planet X and Planet Z, which are extremely powerfully placed in his chart. This indicates he was destined for greatness. Importantly, Uranus is exalted in the 7th House at 29 degrees, which makes him a great captain capable of winning major tournaments," Lobo told TimesofIndia.com.
"However, the problem in the 2023 World Cup was that despite having a phenomenal horoscope, Rohit Sharma could not win because he had diluted his karmic quota. A person can only win as much as they are destined to. He had already used a significant portion of his karmic quota by winning five IPL titles as a captain. If he had won them as a player, it would have been different, but winning as a captain meant he had exhausted a significant portion of his quota. That is why he could not win the World Cup, which is the pinnacle of glory for a captain.
"That said, his horoscope still indicates he can win two smaller tournaments compared to the World Cup. The Champions Trophy is one such tournament, and he definitely has what it takes to win it. I have always said that Rohit Sharma’s horoscope is similar to Lionel Messi’s in football. Both were born in the same year and have similar planetary alignments.
