India's record against Pakistan in ODI World Cups is overwhelming, but it's Pakistan who have the upper hand when it comes to the Champions Trophy that has returned to the international calendar for the first time since 2017.
The rivalry resumes on Sunday, when the two Group A teams meet at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium for their second match of the tournament.

It includes Pakistan's win in the final of the 2017 edition, when Sarfaraz Ahmed lifted the trophy as the skipper.
While on current form, India appear the favourites to win on Sunday, the unpredictable nature of the Pakistan team always remains a threat.

In Group A's current standings, New Zealand lead the table with two points and hold the top position due to their superior net run-rate (NRR) of +1.200. India occupies the second spot, also with two points but a lower NRR of +0.408.
In the bottom half of the group, Bangladesh sit at third position and Pakistan last. Both have zero points, but Bangladesh's NRR of -0.408 puts them ahead of Pakistan who have an NRR of -1.200.
