It bounces a bit more and Sehrawat collects it above her head. She is also a bit late and instead of breaking the stumps, she throws the ball onto them. However, the replay shows that the split-second delay was enough time for Gardner to put her bat inside the crease.

Strategic Break! Gujarat Giants got off to a fantastic start, but UP Warriorz have pulled things back in the last couple of overs, getting rid of both the openers. Sophie Devine played a fine knock, scoring 38 off just 20 balls, but will be disappointed not to make it a big one. UP will look to build on this, and with the field restrictions now lifted, their spinners can bowl more freely and try to get a grip of the game. However, Ashleigh Gardner is in for the Giants, and she will be hoping to stitch together a partnership alongside Anushka Sharma, who also will want to make her mark at the big stage.
