Abhishek Sharma returns to the team after missing the T20I series against Sri Lanka. He will be joined by Riyan Parag and Nitish Kumar Reddy.

The Indian team features all-rounders Hardik Pandya, Washington Sundar, and Shivam Dube. In the bowling department, Ravi Bishnoi and Varun Chakaravarthy will handle spin, while Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, and Mayank Yadav are the seamers.

Bangladesh will be missing all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, who has retired from Tests and T20s. His absence creates a significant gap in their lineup.

Despite being outplayed in the recent Test series, most T20 squad members did not participate in those matches, so they start the white-ball series fresh.

Off-spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz has been recalled after a 14-month hiatus. Veteran batter Mahmud Ullah is at a critical point in his career. Performing well in this series against the world champions could motivate him to continue playing.
