New Delhi:
Hardik Pandya delivered a powerful performance in the second T20I against Bangladesh, scoring 32 runs off 19 balls. He further showcased his athletic skills with a crucial running catch that dismissed Rishad.
Following a strong outing by the Indian batters, the bowlers maintained pressure throughout the game. Spinner Varun Chakravarty played a significant role, giving away only 19 runs and taking two wickets in his four overs.
During Chakravarty's over, Rishad, who had accumulated 9 runs, aimed for a boundary. His shot seemed well-placed, but Pandya's quick movement and athleticism allowed him to cover the distance and take a remarkable running catch. Pandya almost covered 27 metres .

With most of the regulars rested ahead of the Test series vs New Zealand, regular IPL performers are getting a hit in the ongoing series. The likes of Abhishek Sharma, Nitish Reddy, Riyan Parag would look to make most of the opportunities which come their way and cement their spot in the squad. After this series, India will next play five T20Is against South Africa in South Africa.
Since that tour would clash with preparations of Border Gavaskar Trophy in Australia, there is a strong possibility of players playing in Bangladesh series getting more game time.
