NEW DELHI: Of the nine Australian wickets to fall on day one of the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Pune, the eighth included a moment of brilliance from India wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha. It happened during the 82nd over of the day, bowled by pace bowler Umesh Yadav who was in the middle of a superb spell, when Australian tailender Steve O'Keefe got a thick outside edge.

The ball flew off O'Keefe's bat and looked like it headed towards first slip, but suddenly Saha dived to his right and plucked the ball in stunning manner, and controlled himself as he fell to the ground.

Having lost nine wickets at the score of 205, Australia survived close to an hour courtesy a quickfire fifty by Mitchell Starc that pushed them to 256/9 at the close of first day's play.
