India vs Australia 4th Test Highlights: Usman Khawaja, Cameron Green take Australia to 255/4 at stumps on Day 1
Australia were 255 for four at stumps against India on the opening day of the series-deciding fourth Test on Thursday. Opener Usman Khawaja and Cameron Green were batting on 104 and 49 respectively at the close of play.

Opener Usman Khawaja (104 not out) and Cameron Green (49 not out) put on a quick partnership to push Australia on top of the fourth and final Test against India in Ahmedabad on Thursday. The visitors ended the opening day's play comfortably placed at 255 for 4. Khawaja scored his first hundred against India, his 14th overall in Tests, and along with Green added 85 runs off just 116 balls for the fifth wicket to grind the Indian bowlers, who were on a high after removing Peter Handscomb (17) and skipper Steve Smith (38) soon after the tea break.

A lot of emotion in that. Has been a long journey, getting a hundred, as an Australian you always want to do that. It's very special. Head took the new ball down. He was smacking them. Was pretty good to watch that from the other end. It was such a nice wicket, I didn't want to give my wicket away. It was a mental battle more than anything else. You need to keep doing it for a long time. I had the helmet in my right hand, I told him (Green) just gave me a hug, instead of a high five (following his century). I have no superstitions, I stretched a bit in the morning and I was ready to go.

Australia were 255 for four at stumps against India on the opening day of the series-deciding fourth Test on Thursday. Opener Usman Khawaja and Cameron Green were batting on 104 and 49 respectively at the close of play. After skipper Steve Smith opted to bat, Australia were off to a good start with the duo of Khawaja and Travis Head adding 61 runs for the first wicket. R Ashwin gave India their first breakthrough when he dismissed a positive-looking Head for 32. In between Smith's dismissal by Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami bowled Marnus Labuschagne (3) and Peter Handscomb (17) with two beautiful deliveries.
