'Who is Shah Rukh Khan?': Pakistan player gets trolled for ‘Hollywood actor' post

Pakistan’s set social media abuzz ahead of the Asia Cup clash against India after posting on Instagram: “Trust me, I am not a Hollywood actor.”

The lighthearted post sparked a wave of fan reactions, with supporters flooding his comments section.

Some teased him with lines like “Chacha under 19 ky trial deny ja rhy??” and “Who’s Shah Rukhan in front of Chacha.”


Others praised his charm with “Mashallah nazar lag jaye” and coined their own nickname for him: “No Hollywood, no Bollywood… this is Pure Iftiwood!”

One fan even joked: “Caption Chacha ne likha, sharam mujhe arhi.”

While Iftikhar faced banter, the focus remains firmly on the .

Former Pakistan skipper Rashid Latif issued a stern reminder that Pakistan’s over-exuberance has historically cost them against India.

“We get emotional or hyper and try to do everything in one go. India play according to the conditions and the situation—that’s why they succeed,” he said.

India’s dominance in recent years backs his words, with 12 wins in the last 15 completed matches.

India enter Sunday’s Group A clash in Dubai with a balanced side.

Latif highlighted Hardik Pandya as the “X-factor”, Suryakumar Yadav, Abhishek Sharma, and Sanju Samson as stabilizers, and Jasprit Bumrah as the ultimate match-winner.

“Accuracy is everything in T20Is, and Bumrah is unmatched,” Latif noted.

Still, he pointed out that Pakistan’s recent experience on spin-friendly pitches could give them an edge, alongside fresh energy from new skipper Salman Ali Agha and rising talents Sahibzada Farhan and Hassan Nawaz.

For now, though, the spotlight is firmly on “Chacha” Iftikhar, whose Instagram post has reminded fans that even in the fiercest rivalry, there’s always room for a laugh.
