NEW DELHI: Ahead of the resumption of the India-Pakistan Asia Cup match of the Super 4 stage on reserve day, legendary Pakistan pacers Wasim Akram & Waqar Younis were seen giving tips to the current pace battery of the team.
The trio consists of Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf seemed to have got the tips to hone their bowling skills from the best of the business.

But Pakistan dealt a big blow before the start of the play on reserve day as speedster Rauf will not be bowling in the remainder of the match due to the inflammation in his oblique muscle.
1x1 polls

The incessant rain on Sunday forced the match into a reserve day after just 24.1 overs of play were possible.

Skipper Rohit Sharma (56) and fellow opener Shubman Gill (58) gave India a blazing start in a stand of 121 off 100 balls to put Pakistan on the backfoot.
Virat Kohli, on eight, and KL Rahul, on 17, were batting when rain forced the players off and groundstaff worked tirelessly to try and restart the game after showers stopped.
