Right then, Pakistan have posted a good total of 252 runs on the board in this rain-curtailed game of 42 overs. They will be hoping for their bowlers to defend this. Sri Lanka will be disappointed that they let it slip from a strong position with the ball. They failed to take full advantage of these overcast conditions. After Mohammad Nawaz's wickets, there was a short rain break, and once they got back in, they failed to pick up wickets. They did that at the very end but the damage was already done. Matheesha Pathirana picked up three wickets but was a bit expensive. Pramod Madushan chipped in with two wickets whilst Dunith Wellalage and Maheesh Theekshana picked up one wicket each and were the most economical of all. 

So after the DLS adjustment, a run has been taken off Sri Lanka's target. So Sri Lanka's target now will be 252 runs in 42 overs. Pakistan have posted a total of 252 runs courtesy of some good batting from Mohammad Rizwan and Iftikhar Ahmed at the later part of the game. Let me remind you that Pakistan were reeling on 130/5 inside 28 overs. They were off to a shaky start but Rizwan-Iftikhar stitched up a partnership of 108 runs and made their side reach to a commendable total on this bowling paradise. Iftikhar Ahmed was dismissed at the very end for just three runs shy of his half-century. Mohammad Rizwan scored an unbeaten 86 runs for his side.
